Product Review: Nesco FD-75PR 700-Watt Food Dehydrator
If you're looking for a good food dehydrator, I suggest the Nesco FD-75PR. This dehydrator has a top-mounted fan and works great. I comes with 5 trays, but can be expanded to up to 12 trays. It also comes with two fruit roll trays for drying liquefied fruit, and two clean-a-screen flexible screens used for drying small items such as herbs, spices and potpourri.
I also purchased the Nesco BJX-5 American Harvest Jumbo Jerky Works Kit. This jerky gun makes it easy to make great tasting jerky from ground meat.

Unfortunatly I can't quite agree with this review...
ReplyDeleteBecause this food dehydrator works with a vertical drying system and such a drying system works not as good as a horizontal drying system like in this dehydrator: vitality4life.com/biochef-arizona-6-tray-food-dehydrator/ Which drys the food much more evenly. Furthermore this food dehydrator has stainless steel drying trays and is BPA free. Such steel drying trays are easier to clean and much more stable than plastic trays...
Because it eliminates the water, dehydrating food produces a food product that is light weight, safe and easy to store. fruit dehydrator
